WSM SECANT GROUT MIX PILE WALL (ERSS Wall)

There are two different methods for building embedded retaining walls by using Secant Grout Mix Pile Wall method which are by the installation of I-beam at every grout mix pile or alternate grout mix piles or grout mix piles without I-beam.

Ultra-High Pressure Jet Grouting Pile

DOUBLE TUBE JET GROUTING : 200 TO 450 BARS
These techniques involve injecting ultra-high pressure fluids or binders into soils at high velocities. These binders break up the soil structure completely and mix the soil particles in situ to create a grout column or homogeneous mass, which in turn solidifies.

Temporary Removal/ Permanent Ground Anchor

Ground anchors consisting of PC strand or rods connected to waler beams and anchor brackets are often used for retaining wall tie back, stabilization of steep slopes or slopes consisting of softer soils, as well as the enhancement of embankment or foundation soil capacity, or to prevent excessive erosion and landslides.

Bored Micro-Pile

Bored Micro-piles can penetrate in excess of 60.0 m in depth, with design loads of as much as 180 tons.

Bored Micro-pile is another type of pile that acts as a supporting structure to transfer the load from the building to the ground. As the name implies, micropiles are small diameter piles constructed by the drilling process and are often keyed into rock.

Drilled Displacement Pile (DD Screw Pile)

Rotary drilled displacement screw pile (DD Screw Pile) systems provide improved soil strength, pile capacity and load transfer to the surrounding ground. This approach also offers a reduction in overall foundation costs by reducing pile lengths and diameters, as well as substantially reducing or eliminating the cost of pile spoil disposal.

Soil Nailing/ Rock Bolting

Soil nails/ Rock bolts, consisting of high tensile rebar or FRP rebar connected to RC beam or Shotcrete wall with a lock nut and bearing plate, are often used for retaining wall tie back and slope stabilization works.

Shotcrete/ Guniting

Shotcrete refers to spraying of ready-mix dry or wet concrete, by means of pressure applied through a continuously feeding pressure vessel. This type of construction allows the concrete to follow irregular shapes and makes possible the shaping of the material as it hardens. It is the preferred technique for the slope stabilization walls, CBP walls or swimming pools.

Milestones in Construction:
Malaysia and Singapore Projects

On-going MRT Projects for Jurong Region Line and Cross Island Line

Our company is actively engaged in various ongoing projects related to the construction of Singapore MRT stations. These projects include our contributions to the Cross Island Line Phase 1 (by 2029), the Cross Island Line's Punggol Extension (by 2031), and the Jurong Region Line (by 2026). We are proud to provide specialized ground improvement and geotechnical engineering solutions, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the successful and continuous advancement of these significant transportation infrastructure initiatives.

Completed Singapore MRT Projects

Zhao Yang has provided specialist ground improvement works and geotechnical engineering solutions for the construction of MRT stations along Downtown Lines 1, 2 and 3, Circle Line, and Tuas West Extension.

The 43km Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) is a joint line between the Thomson Line and the Eastern Region Line, with 31 new stations from Woodlands North to Sungei Bedok.

On-going Malaysia Projects

The Nenggiri Project, an ongoing project, involves geotechnical engineering for dams (main, re-regulating, and saddle dams), utilizing techniques like soil nails, rock bolts, shotcrete, and ground anchors to enhance structural stability.

A diverse range of projects, including Wet Speed Mixing at Sunway Medical Centre, Ipoh, TAM Grouting at Sungai Besi, and Wet Speed Mixing at Gemas, Johor, are currently underway.

Completed Malaysia Projects

We provided geotechnical solutions for each unique project throughout Malaysia such as Curtain Grouting at Titiwangsa Station, Chemical Grouting at Kinta Ipoh Perak, Jet Grouting at KLCC and etc.
